Anna's brother and his wife welcomed their first baby into the world on Wednesday afternoon. His name is Luke David, and mother and baby are doing fine. News on the wire is that the new uncle was at the hospital to see the newborn and was not admitted for anxiety attacks or other hysterical episodes.

Tonight our baseball boy returns "home" for the summer. Josh, who we hosted for the second half of the Denton Outlaws season last summer, is returning to the team for the 2006 season, at least to start. We all expect that he will get drafted during the MLB Amateur Draft on Tuesday, June 6 (same as the Outlaws Opening Day), but we don't know if he'll get to stay out the season or not. More news as that happens.

And we welcome our second baseball son on Thursday when he flies in from California. What a summer it's going to be...
