Rethinking 

OK, so as it turns out, maybe yesterday wasn't the worst birthday I've ever had. Or maybe it still was, but it wasn't as bad as it started out.

You see, late yesterday afternoon, I got a special birthday present. I received MVP status from Microsoft for my work in the small business community. An MVP is a Microsoft designation for a Most Valuable Professional, a non-Microsoft employee who has demonstrated expertise in one or more Microsoft product lines and a commitment to participate in online and offline communities sharing their expertise with other Microsoft customers. There are currently around 40 MVPs worldwide for the Microsoft Small Business Server product, an elite group to say the least.

So, yeah, it wasn't the worst day after all. And today has certainly been better...
