The Band: A Promotional shot taken in the
studio. From left to right: Alan Bigelow, Eriq
Neale, Bob Gasior, Greg Ross. If you look really
carefully, you can see portions of the drum kit in
the background. You can also see the left lens of
Chris Williams' glasses in the bottom left of the
picture. What rotten luck: he took the picture and
we cut him out of the final crop. Poor guy.

Setting up in the Big Room: This shot was taken
the second day of the session (I remember because
of the purple shirt I'm wearing). Mark Murray is on
the left, wearing the colorful hat. Then around to
the right are Eriq Neale, Alan Bigelow, and Bob
Gasior. The colorful drums aren't quite as vivid in
black and white pictures.

Inside the Control Room 1: This was one of the
(many) refreshment breaks taken during the session.
From left to right are Greg Ross, Bob Gasior, Mark
Murray (again in the hat), and Eriq Neale. Drink
courtesy of Taco Villa on 16th and Ave. Q.

Inside the Control Room 2: We took this overhead
shot so we could see all the neat gadgets that are
crammed in there. Mark Murray is on the left, and
the beginnings of thinning hair are evident on the
right.

Alan Plays Guitar: Alan listens closely to Mark
and Eriq as they make constructive comments on the
last take of the solo. Alan took such criticism
well.

This is what it feels like to try to record an
entire album in three days.

Mark was the master of keeping time. This
cropped shot should have been in the liner notes,
but was cut because of lack of space, not because
we don't like Mark. We do. Really.

One of the rare photographs of the brothers in
the same room. Eriq Neale is on the left, Jason
Joseph is hiding behind one of the many note sheets
used during the sessions.

Just to prove that Green Chili really did have
the live gig mentioned in the history, here are a
couple of pictures from the one and only event.
This overhead shot shows the band playing in the
One O'Clock Lounge of the UNT University Union on
March 4, 1992, Union Day at UNT. The lineup
included Clay Lorance on vocals.

Another shot of the band playing at Union Day in
1992. It was after the performance that Barbara and
Greg announced their intention to bolt from Denton
and go live in Austin where some DNA facility
wanted to pay Barbara a LOT of money. The happy
expressions on the faces of the band members
indicates this picture was taken before the bomb
dropped.

And for absolutely no other reason, here is the picture
Greg doesn't want you to
see.
